Easy & Quick Recipe: Sweet & Spicy Vegan BBQ Sauce

It’s 2023 — eating healthy doesn't have to be boring. In fact, I find more inspiration in the kitchen when my eating is most restricted. For example, I love finding easy, new recipes I can incorporate into my raw vegan diet. Adding sauce is a fun way to enhance any culinary experience. And when I dabble in raw veganism, I need all the accouterments!
Recently, I made this raw vegan BBQ sauce — total game changer! It's the perfect addition when you want a sweet and spicy kick. Most BBQ sauces are loaded with sugar, so we keep our distance. This sauce however, is sweetened with dates and packs some serious flavor. We highly recommend this yummy and guilt-free BBQ sauce — no matter what your eating restrictions may be.

1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes 🍅
1/4 cup dates (pitted)
1/2 cup water
1/4 small onion chopped
1 clove crushed garlic
1 tsp ACV
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp celery seed
Pinch of salt and pepper
